Malmo, Sweden – Dan Vukelich, President of the Association of Medical Device Reprocessors, addressed an international audience at the third annual CleanMed Europe conference on the benefits of third-party reprocessing in a session titled “Waste Management in Healthcare.” On a day dominated by news of the highly-anticipated release of the European Commission’s proposed revisions to the medical device directive, Vukelich spoke to attendees about current international regulations for reprocessed devices, with a focus on the current regulatory situation in Europe and the forthcoming regulations that will impact the reprocessing industry.
